Caiti & Greg | 7.13.19

Caiti and I first connected about 4 months before their wedding. She and Greg had their wedding plans well underway but wanted some last minute help pulling everything together and making sure things came together as they envisioned it on their big day. I really enjoyed our conversation and was honored when I got the opportunity to be part of their special day.

Since Caiti and Greg are located in CT, we didn’t get the opportunity to meet in person until the day of their wedding. Needless to say, I was dying to see them, and to give Caiti a huge hug (being careful not to ruin her hair or make-up!).

My drive to Cobb Hill Estate in Harrisville, NH was a beautiful one – the sun was shining and there was hardly a cloud in the sky! I arrived mid-afternoon and found Caiti surrounded by a loving crowd of family and friends. To say she was glowing is an understatement! She looked gorgeous courtesy of Bridal Hair Experts, but the happiness she radiated was all Caiti. And her Anna Maier dress was just perfect! Downstairs, Greg and his groomsmen were relaxed and happy and enjoying a pre-event beverage.

As I worked to make sure the ceremony and reception locations were ready to go and looking fabulous, I couldn’t help but marvel at the views. What an amazing place to be married! Cobb Hill Estate couldn’t be prettier. Caiti and Greg have beautiful taste and the décor they choose complimented the space so well. Greenery hung from the tent ceiling and wildflowers from Naturally Elegant Designs made for beautiful centerpieces.

As guests started to arrive and enjoy the fabulous mountain views (hello Mount Monadnock!), Kerry from Birch Blaze Studios and Vitaliy from Embark Films captured a super sweet family moment as Caiti did a first look with her Dad, David. Family friends Mitch & Jessi provided live music for the ceremony (as well as cocktail hour) and as we got the bridal party processional under way, I was surprised to see our videographer sprinting back up the hill to retrieve the wedding rings that the best man forgot! It got some chuckles from the crowd and despite the minor delay, the rest of the ceremony (officiated by friend Michael) was full of love & joy.

During cocktail hour, Trevor & Brittany were busy mixing up loads of cucumber coolers (the signature cocktail), while Jerry and his amazing staff from Homestyle Catering served up delicious appetizers. I was thrilled when Caiti, Greg, and the rest of their bridal party were able to join the second half of cocktail hour as it always seems to be a highlight for our couples.

As the reception got under way, Caiti’s Dad’s welcome toast had many folks wiping tears from their eyes, and the speech from best man Jack had the crowd roaring as he regaled us with tales of Greg’s doctors’ appointments and his love for Pedialyte. I’m still laughing thinking about it. The team from Peak Entertainment had the crowd on their feet the moment we kicked off the dance party and I loved getting to seeing all of Caiti & Greg’s family and friends become one on the dance floor. As the night wore on, a surprise was waiting for guests in the form of a late night taco bar! I’m sure that gave everyone the extra boost of energy they needed to keep the dance floor packed until the very last song.

Caiti & Greg – it was truly a pleasure getting to know you over these past few months and to witness the love you have for each other. I wish you a lifetime full of smiles, laughter, love, and happiness. xo
