Nancy & Antonio | 11.9.19

Updated: Dec 29, 2019

I couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple to close out my 2019 wedding season with! Nancy and Antonio are one of those couples who make love seem effortless. They are genuinely kind people and I was thrilled to get to help them put the final touches on their wedding day.

I first met with them in late September and I remember complaining about the weather (as I tend to!). I learned that they had moved to New Hampshire from Texas in the past year and were excited about their first Fall here and experiencing the seasons. Sometimes it takes an outside perspective to put things back in check and even if it’s just about a silly thing like the weather, they were a great reminder to me to be grateful for what we have.

Early weather reports said we were supposed to get a Nor’easter the weekend of their wedding. As most of their guests were flying in from out of town, this was a tad bit concerning. I think their positive attitude influenced the weather gods though as snow was nowhere to be seen the week of their wedding!

Nancy and Antonio were married at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Nashua, NH. Nancy’s natural beauty was highlighted courtesy of the team at Joseph Michael Salon & Spa. Her wedding dress was perfection – she wore a dress adorned with lace and sparkles that she found at Marry & Tux Bridal. Liliana from Something Blue custom designed and created the full-length sleeves and veil that completed the dreamy look. Ever the gentleman, Antonio looked dapper in a morning dress suit from Ede & Ravenscroft that was tailored to perfection by Stephen Kempson. Post ceremony, the entire congregation was invited to join the couple for breakfast provided by Pressed Café.

Mid-afternoon guests made their way over to Fulchino Vineyard. The already beautiful space (I mean, that wall of bottles of wine, wow!) was accented with lovely florals from Semper Virens Flowers, and tons of candles and family photos. Caty from Catharine Morris Photography and all of the guests were troopers as they braved the cold temperatures to take photos outside in front of the lovely building. As guests entered the space, a slideshow of photos played on screen, and music specifically chosen by Nancy & Antonio played in the background. Guests enjoyed appetizers in the upstairs loft before moving downstairs for a plated dinner from the team at Two Chefs.

Bridal party toasts are always a highlight for me, and this time was no exception! When Nancy’s sister Sara explained how Nancy’s now groom is named Antonio Jose and that her husband is Jose Antonio, I couldn’t believe my ears. What an amazing coincidence! And laughter rang out as best man Jorge said he found what to say for his speech when Google directed him to the website The Art of Manliness. And as is tradition in the Sprehn family, both Nancy’s parents and sisters created and acted in skits that were so fun to watch and gave us a glimpse into their lives.

As the evening wore down, guests enjoyed a slice of delicious cake from Buckley’s Bakery and got to sample some dessert wine if they so chose. Nancy and Antonio were then sent off in style as the bell tower rang and guests tossed rice as they hurried into a waiting car.

Nancy & Antonio – Wherever life takes you, I know you’ll both do great things. I know the love that radiated from you will last a lifetime. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding. xo
