Pam & Eric | 6.19.21

There are just some couples where you look at them and know the universe did something right when it brought them together. That’s Pam and Eric. Throughout their wedding there were so many little moments I happened to witness that showed how in love they are – the way they smiled at each other and the way Eric would touch the small of Pam’s back as they stood and talked to their guests were just a few.

Like so many other couples, Pam and Eric made their love official last summer, but moved their celebration to this June so they could have the wedding they envisioned. They chose The Lexington in the heart of Cambridge Crossing to celebrate with their loved ones on a beautiful June evening. I arrived early evening to put the final touches on the space and was immediately awestruck by the beautiful florals provided by Berry Branch – the bright flowers were a clear celebration of summer and the pops of color really tied everything together. I spent a few minutes on the rooftop deck catching a sneak peak of Pam and Eric who were in the park below with Korri from Photography by KLC who was capturing some adorable photos in advance of the festivities kicking off.

As guests began arriving it was clear everyone was enjoying the unique space. They were treated to delicious drinks and appetizers as they made their way onto the rooftop deck for the ceremony. Pam, looking lovely in her gown from L’elite and escorted by her father Bill, had a huge smile on her face as she made her way towards Eric. The touching and intimate ceremony was officiated by Beth from Well Wed by Beth and had guests both laughing and holding back tears as Pam and Eric said their vows.

Post ceremony, Pam and Eric got to mingle with their loved ones and enjoy the views during cocktail hour. Guests took full advantage of the Polaroid guest book as they took cute (and a few silly!) pictures that will live on forever. Once seated for dinner, everyone was provided with an amazing meal from the team at The Lexington that they enjoyed while they had a chance to catch up with family & friends they hadn’t seen in a while. During dinner, best man Korey and maid of honor Olivia gave toasts that had guests laughing out loud. My favorite part was when Korey quoted Michael from the TV show The Office, “Webster's dictionary defines wedding as "the fusing of two metals with a hot torch." Well, you know something? I think you guys are two medals. Gold medals.”

After dinner, DJ Dakeya Christmas from Murray Hill Talent had everyone’s attention as he played the first notes of “You’re All I Need to Get By” by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrel and Pam and Eric shared their first dance. Afterwards, the dance party spilled out onto the deck with Pam and Eric front and center. I know the newlyweds relished in all of the love and support surrounding them!

Pam & Eric – my wish for you is that your love continues to grow and that you still look at each other the way you did on your wedding day 50+ years from now. And if your adventures take you to any sports stadiums, make sure you find a press box to break into! xo
