Siri & Travis | 5.29.21

I had the pleasure of working with Siri and Travis as they planned their wedding at the historic Barn at Powder Major’s Farm in Madbury, NH. It may sound silly, but I always have a soft spot for weddings where the groom is my main point of contract throughout the planning process. And this wedding was no different – Travis quickly became one of my favorites as his kindness, communication style, and thoroughness made my job so much easier.

Since their wedding was in May, we knew there may be a chance of rain. We all know how iffy the weather in New England can be and unfortunately, drizzle and cooler temperatures were present on their wedding day. Though you never would have known we had to go with our back-up plan for an indoor ceremony – Siri and Travis rolled with the changes with unprecedented grace. We rearranged the timber structure to house their intimate ceremony complete with a wooden arbor draped with luscious greenery. Prior to the festivities officially kicking off, Travis and Siri had their first look. And a little drizzle didn’t stop Amanda from Amanda Rai Photography as she used both outdoor and indoor locations to capture the amazing images you see below with all those Siri and Travis hold dear.

Guests began arriving mid-afternoon and they filled the space with joy and laughter as they waited for the gorgeous bride to make her entrance. As the bridal party took their positions at the front of the room, the first notes of “Consider Me” by Alan Stone started to play and Siri, gorgeous in her gown from Bella Sera Bridal, made her way down the aisle towards her forever love. Officiated by Siri’s brother Clint, the ceremony was personal and heartfelt and celebrated a sweet, fun, and romantic union between two people who are clearly meant to share their lives.

With the formal photos complete, Siri and Travis got to enjoy cocktail hour mingling with their guests and enjoying delicious food provided by French Picnic Catering and yummy drinks served with a smile by PR Bartending. After, guests were invited into the barn to get the party started! The simplistic beauty of the space was enhanced by twinkle lights and stunning florals courtesy of Semper Virens Flowers. All eyes were on Travis and Siri as they were introduced as husband and wife and shared their first dance.

During dinner the guests heard from Maid of Honor, Kristina, and the Best Man, Cory with toasts that ranged from pulling on the heart strings to making everyone laugh until it hurt. I was a little teary myself as Cory spoke about how Siri helped bring him and Travis closer together and I laughed out loud when he said “Hey Siri…”, a nod to everyone’s favorite Apple voice assistant. After touching dances with their parents, DJ Ryan Parker had everyone up and on the dance floor for the entire night! Dessert, fabulous looking (and huge!) donuts from Harvey’s Bakery gave guests that extra little sugar rush to finish out the night laughing and singing along to “Closing Song” by Red Peters.

Siri & Travis - Wishing you so much happiness as you embark on this new journey together. I hope that as the years go on, your love grows even stronger and that your laughter gets a little louder. xo
